Victoria Park is a short walk to Southport town centre. Lord Street is truly an iconic street, with its beautiful Victorian canopies edged with scenic gardens. There is a number of parks and gardens, where you can experience stunning greenery and a beautiful lake.
The beach stretches for 22 miles along the coastline and is home to the countries oldest and second longest Pier.
Southport is widley regarded as ‘England’s Golfing Capital’ with five championship courses within 10 minutes drive, including Royal Birkdale which plays host to The Open. Whatever level you play at, with many other courses, you’re sure to find a great golf experience.
Southport is also ideally located for a wide range of great days out, all just a short drive away. The RSPB reserve, WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, the stunning sand dunes around Ainsdale and, of course, the National Trust’s Red Squirrel reserve at Formby point.
Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool are all within easy reach, either in the car or by public transport.
